Story: When I went searching for my wedding dress, I was absolutely convinced I'd be looking for sleeves, A-line or ballgown sillhouette and most certainly not a trumpet, mermaid or sheath dress. Even less so, something as bright white as this gown is. This dress surprised me at how well it fit and how great it made my larger arms look with the delicate sleeves.

The Dress: So this dress felt beautiful on, was extremely well constructed with sturdy heavily (but tasefully) embroidered lace with pearl beading upon tulle overlaying what appears to be heavy satin. It has inbuilt boning and straps to support your bust you can connect much like a bra. The color is a true diamond white. The zipper is obscured by lace that you button on after you've zipped up.

I'd taken it in to another mom and pop shop in town as I was interested in a matching veil who gasped and asked why I was looking for a new one in the first place. Unfortuntely the garmet care tag is worn off so I can't see the make of the dress, which is a bit bizzarre because it was sold to me as a new dress. Regardless, I've found zero other signs of wear and tear and the gown is in pristine condition as I've never worn it aside from trying it on. It also comes with the original DaVinci tag. I just wish I knew which model the dress was. I searched high and low on Davinci's website, including their old catalog and couldn't find that one exactly. The style is T8045.

Price: At this point I'm just looking to recoup costs, as it's sitting here in my closet in its bag and the show must go on. I paid $600.00 for it, but realize it isn't off of a rack at a local store and there is some risk involved with online dress shopping (I know, I just bought another one online myself in much the same way, luckily she was a great girl).
